Nessa manhã de segunda feira, o caos que já tomou conta da operação de evacuação internacional em Kabul está gerando imagens surreais (mas que eram bem previsíveis), como o rompimento das barreiras de segurança pelos civis afegãos que querem tentar fugir do país, todos alegando que trabalharam para os EUA e aliados contra o Talebã.
Após o rompimento das barreiras de segurança feita pelos militares dos EUA e Reino Unido, esses milhares de civis estão tentando embarcar à força em aeronaves militares e de companhias aéreas que ainda estão no pátio do aeroporto de Kabul.
Uma das cenas mais impressionantes é quando uma aeronave C-17 está rolando na pista para decolagem e milhares de civis tentam ainda parar a aeronave na intenção ilusória de conseguir embarcar.
Para dissuadir as milhares de pessoas a sair da pista, um helicóptero AH-64 Apache faz manobras a muito baixa altura sobre os grupos de civis para que estes se assustem e se afastem.
Já existem relatos de militares dos EUA atirando para o alto, na horizontal sobre as cabeças dos civis afegãos e usando gás lacrimogênio para dispersar os civis desesperados em fuga que tentam embarcar nas aeronaves.
Foi registrado um relato com imagens, de civis que se agararram ao trem de pouso de uma aeronave e acabaram por cair durante a decolagem e morreram em decorrência da queda.
